The HP Latex 335 64" printer is a highly capable latex printer able to service a number of different markets. With stunning quality print it is perfect for signage, both indoor and outdoor, exhibition and event graphics and growing markets like indoor graphics such as wall coverings and canvas’s. It builds on the strengths of its sister machine the 315 and offers the additional advantages of 64’inch printing and can handle larger media rolls (up to 42kg v 25kg) and includes a Take up reel for unattended printing.

It has been engineered with print quality and productivity as key development objectives and delivers this through a combination of advanced features. Starting with a six colour cartridge system deployed through 1200 dpi print heads high quality prints are delivered every time. Further quality gains are achieved by HP’s Latex Optimizer which interacts with HP Latex inks to swiftly immobilize pigments on the surface of the print. HP’s Optical Media Advance Sensor (OMAS) provides further quality enhancements by carefully controlling the media as it progresses between print swaths. 

The HP 335 Latex delivers high productivity through a combination of speed and minimized downtime. Print flows through the machine at speedy 13m² for indoor print but just as importantly automatic drop detection and nozzle replacement keep the printer working at full capacity for longer. In addition finishing work can start immediately as the ink emerges 100% dry on the media as it emerges from the printer.

Print durability is also impressive. Outdoor signage can last up to 3 years on un-laminated media and if laminated 5 years. When using HP latex inks the scratch resistance of PVC banners after printing is comparable to hard solvent inks.

A major advantage of HP’s 300 series and 500 series range of printers is that no hazardous odours are produced as a by product of printing and therefore no special ventilation is needed.

How to maximise the performance of your latex printer

Although the HP 365 latex printer comes supplied with HP's FlexiPrint Edition RIP this performs only basic fuctions. To really maximise the productivity of your machine we recommend a high performance RIP.  At Entwistle we supply a wide range of RIPS from all the major companies including ColorGATE, Caldera, Onyx  and SAi. Our team can explain the differences and benefits of each to ensure you maximize the productivity of your printer.

A RIP will perform the following:

• They match pantone and spot colours to ensure repeat prints are identical even if separated by weeks.
• They enable you to manually or automatically place a number of files compactly onto the same print run area saving media and time.
• It calibrates and profiles the printer on a specific media giving higher colour accuracy
• It allows you to tile, rotate, scale and crop the image which saves paper, time and money
