About our cards

Feel the quality

Beyond being a member of the FSC®, the Entwistle Group is also a member of the Greetings Card Association and we are delighted to have a host of different publishers as clients, such as Paper Salad, Meg Hawkins Art, Emotional Rescue and Stripey Cats. All our cards are made from premium FSC® Greeting Card Board – 95% of which is GF Smith 350gsm Accent Callisto Soft White, though we can use other types, such as Fedrigoni for example. The result is a card that has a great ‘in the hand’ feel to it.

Gone are the days of large greeting card print runs to reduce unit costs

Thanks to amazing advances in digital technology and state-of-the-art printers, set-up costs for printing greetings cards are so low that we have no minimum order, and unit costs for larger print runs varies only marginally. For you, that means it is just as easy for us to produce 1000 cards comprising 200 units for each of five different designs as it is to do a single print run of one design. 

Colour and design consistency, time and time again

Thanks to our HP Indigo printers which have Intelligent Colour Management and built-in spectrophotometers, if we do a second print run of cards for you several weeks or months after the previous one, you need have no concerns over colour consistency, you won’t be able to spot any difference as there won’t be any!

Better still, we are able to store all your images on file which we can easily access every time you reorder cards.

Stand out from the crowd with different shapes, eye-catching colours and finishes for your greetings cards

Don’t restrict your design skills to a rectangular card. Whatever shape you want your greetings cards to be, we can cut those shapes accordingly. And, as if that wasn’t good enough, we can emboss them, produce them with block foil, and use eye-catching colours such as fluorescent ink. With our Indigo printers, we can offer you the widest-possible range in the colour palette and beyond. We can also add White ink, fluorescent Pink or Clear finishes to embellish your cards.

Fancy your own dedicated website for orders?

That’s right – we can even create an online site for you to use when reordering cards. With all your designs stored, all you will need to do is use the dropdown menu to input the number of cards you want and the address you want them delivered to.

It is also worth noting that we work with companies such as Swansea-based Swish Fulfilment who can provide envelopes and mail individual cards to multiple addresses – perfect for a mailshot promotion!

We can also provide stock management for you, holding additional cards and enabling you to order them for instant dispatch when needed. Beyond that we can also do the stock management and advise you when print runs of certain card designs are running low and asking if you want us to perform another print run.
